The French mouthpiece lies flat against the tongue of the horse breaking the normal nutcracker action. This bit has four rings, a hollow mouth piece for lightness of weight in the horse’s mouth. The Stainless steel in this bit is a mixutre of stainless steel along with 18% Chrome and 8% nickel. The chrome helps prevent the bit from rusting while the nickle adds to the strength and durability. The stainless steel is hand polished.
